Super cute, but ineffective : Hunter Fans 23252 44" Baseball Kid's Indoor White Ceiling Fan w/ Light & Blades

I bought this for my grandson's bedroom and he loves it. My daughter and I assembled and installed it. Some reviews complained about a scraping noise when the fan was used and dificulty assembling. We did not have those problems. The fan is shipped with tiny plastic blocks to stabilize the motor while shipping. I wonder if people didn't take off them before attaching the fan blades. Not removing them would cause both problems!
I was not happy with the pull chains as there were no extensions included so they are very short. Possibly it is a how they get you to buy the baseball ones that are sold separately! So far that seems to be the only negative.
